Abstract:

In order to investigate the effect of different levels of salinity stress on ANIONS AND CATIONS absorption CONCENTRATION in different lines AND cultivars of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.), a factorial experiment in completely rANDomized design with three repliCATIONS was carried out at research greenhouse in Agricultural Research center of MazANDaran in 2009-2010 cropping year. Four levels of water salinity including (0 (control), 4, 8 AND 12 ds/m-1) were considered as the first factor AND seven cultivars including (Zarfam, Sarigol, Line 14 Line 18, Line 111, RG003 AND Hayola 401) as the second factor. The results showed the most absorption CONCENTRATIONs of Mg, Ca AND Na was obtained for RG003 cultivars AND Line 14, respectively AND also the highest amount of K AND Cl absorption CONCENTRATIONs were belonged to RG003, Zarfam AND Sarigol cultivars in vegetative stage. As the highest amount of Line 14 AND RG003 cultivars was obtained in Ca AND Na CONCENTRATIONs, the highest amount of Na, K AND Cl were related to Line 111, Sarigol, Zarfam AND RG003, respectively at reproductive stage. In addition, due to increasing salinity stress in elements CONCENTRATION in comparison with vegetative stage had less variation, as in generative stage, absorption CONCENTRATION of Na AND Cl elements were about eight AND two times of their amounts in comparison with control treatments, respectively.

Abstract:

MOLECULAR DYNAMICS SIMULATIONS ARE PERFORMED ON DIPALMITOYLPHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE BILAYER SYSTEM WITH ADDED CACL2. DUE TO THE RUGGED NATURE OF THE MEMBRANE/ELECTROLYTE INTERFACE, ION BINDING TO THE MEMBRANE SURFACE IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE LOSS OF ION HYDRATION. USING THIS STRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION, BINDING OF CA+2 AND CL- IONS TO THE MEMBRANE IS OBSERVED, ALTHOUGH THE BINDING OF CL- IS SEEN TO BE SLIGHTLY WEAKER THAN THAT OF CA+2. THE POSITIVE DENSITY PRODUCES A POSITIVE ELECTROSTATIC POTENTIAL IN THIS REGION. ADDITION OF ALKALI HALIDE SALTS MODIFIES PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THE BILAYER INCLUDING THE ELECTRONIC DENSITY PROFILES, AND THE ORDER PARAMETERS.

Abstract:

The current study aimed to optimize artificial insemination in aged broiler breeder hens in two experiments. In the first experiment, the effect of (two) different diluted semen temperatures (5 AND 25 °C) of Hubbard rooster (40 roosters, 58 weeks of age) on fertility, hatchability AND sperm penetration (SP) rate in the perivitelline layer of Hubbard hen (180 hens) were investigated. In the second experiment, three (different) sperm CONCENTRATIONs (100 (C100), 200 (C200), AND 400 (C400) million sperm in 0.25 mL per hen) of Hubbard roosters (40 roosters, 62 weeks of age) on fertility, hatchability AND SP rate of Hubbard broiler breeder hens (270 hens) were explored. In the first experiment, the results showed that the temperature of 5 °C of diluted semen compared to the 25 °C, increased percentage of hatchability of set eggs, hatchability of fertile eggs, AND SP AND decreased early embryonic mortality. The results of the second experiment showed the highest percentage of fertility AND SP rate were observed at treatment C400. Also, in this experiment that highest percentage of hatchability of set eggs AND hatchability of fertile eggs AND lowest early embryonic mortality were observed at treatment C400. Return on investment (ROI) of the treatments C200 AND C400 was approximately 2.9 AND 1.4, respectively. In overall, the results of this study showed that (in attention to ROI AND hatchability) to optimize artificial insemination of aged broiler breeder hens we can use a sperm CONCENTRATION of 200 to 400 million in 0.25 mL per hens at 5 °C.

Abstract:

Dairy cow performance in terms of food consumption AND growth, reproduction, milk production with high quality, hygiene, AND health, has a direct relationship with water without anti-quality agents. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the quality of drinking water in dairy farms of Mashhad suburb, Iran in terms of some chemical contaminations. Therefore, 1 liter of water samples was taken from 30 dairy units under stANDard conditions, AND heavy metals including lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium AND nitrate, AND sulfate ions were measured by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES). After calculating AND recording the descriptive statistical indices, data were analyzed in terms of comparing averages with existing stANDards for each parameter, as well as comparing the contamination rate in different geographical areas using SPSS software. The results showed that the nitrate AND sulfate CONCENTRATIONs in all farms were lower than stANDard values, also, arsenic, lead, AND mercury CONCENTRATIONs in all units AND cadmium levels in 10 farms were exceeded. It was also found that there was no significant difference in the amount of heavy metal between the four studied geographic areas while there was for the two factors, nitrate AND sulfate (P<0.05). The existence of industrial estates, busy highways, AND thermal power plant located around the Mashhad city that have the potential for entering pollutants AND heavy metals into the environment, also, penetration of chemical fertilizers AND industrial AND domestic wastewater into groundwater are possible causes of contamination of livestock drinking water with heavy metals AND chemical pollutants.

Abstract:

Although there are different devices for rapid AND low cost monitoring of some soil properties, extended field surveys, both in space AND depth, seem to be necessary for mapping of these AND other soil attributes. In this study, electromagnetic induction device (EM38) has been introduced as a tool for rapid AND low cost measurement of soil salinity AND other attributes. Main objective of this study was to test AND evaluate capabilities of this device for monitoring soil CATIONS AND ANIONS in addition to salinity in Azadegan plain, west of Iran. For this purpose, soil samples were taken at different loCATIONS AND depth intervals, simultaneously with EM38 readings. Relationships between EM38 readings AND ANIONS, CATIONS, salinity AND Sodium Absorption Ratio (SAR) were investigated through statistical analysis approaches. Results of this study indicated significant correlations between EM38 readings AND soil sodium measures as well as SAR. The mentioned result suggests this device as a rapid tool for measurement of soil sodium in different parts of the country.

Abstract:

A significantly large volume of effluent is generated during the manufacture of sugar AND contains high amount of pollution load. The effluent from sugarcane industry is disposed off on lAND moves into the wider environment through a number of routes AND the soil itself retains the various contaminants in the effluent to a greater or lesser extent depending on the physical nature of the soil. The analysis of contaminant transport through soil used to design of industrial wastewater treatments AND disposal systems. This paper discussed the adsorption AND diffusion of CATIONS calcium, magnesium, sodium AND ANIONS chloride AND sulphate by the sorption diffusion permeameter under different hydraulic retentions time of 3 min, 13 min, 27 min AND 58 min with a constant diffusion flow rate of 3.6 L/h. In this study, less percentage error found between observed adsorption AND diffusion coefficients from the experiments at different hydraulic retentions time AND optimum adsorption AND diffusion coefficients from the experiments at optimum hydraulic retentions time of 30 min for calcium, magnesium, sodium, choloride AND sulphate. The results of regression analysis implied that the adsorption AND diffusion coefficients obtained from the equation for CATIONS AND ANIONS were good recognizing with the experimental results.

Abstract:

A new hybrid nanomaterial was developed by immobilization of phosphomolybdate ANIONS on the surface of modified magnetite nanoparticles with quaternary phosphonium CATIONS. Silica coated magnetic nanoparticles supported phosphonium CATIONS, Ph3P+-SCMNPs, were prepared by covalent attachment of chloropropylsilyl groups on the surface of silica coated magnetite nanoparticles AND next reaction with triphenylphosphine. Then, reaction of the prepared Ph3P+-SCMNPs nanomaterial with H3PMo12O40 resulted in the preparation of PMo-Ph3P+-SCMNPs hybrid nanomaterial. The PMo-Ph3P+-SCMNPs hybrid nanomaterial was characterized with different physicochemical methods such as FT-IR AND ICP-AES spectroscopies, XRD, VSM, SEM, AND TEM analyses. VSM analysis showed superparamagnetic properties of the prepared nanomaterial. TEM AND SEM analyses indicated the aggregated nanoparticles with about 15 nm average size.

Abstract:

New 2D undulating layer pure inorganic polymers H2 [{M(H2O) 8 M (H2O) 7M (H2O) 6}P2W18Ce3O70 (OH) (H2O) 2]∙xH2O; M = Ce3+ (1), Nd3+ (2) AND Sm3+ (3) were synthesized by routine synthetic reactions in aqueous solution AND characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, cyclic voltammetry, XRPD, magnetic susceptibility, TG analysis, AND X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The 2D framework of 1–3 were built by tri-Ce4+ substituted sANDwich-type polyoxoANIONS modified by six trivalent lanthanide CATIONS M (H2O) x (x = 6–8) units. The M(H2O)x (x = 6–7) groups act as bridges to form 2D undulating layer, but the M(H2O)8 groups link the 2D layers together via hydrogen bonds to form a 3D supra-molecular framework.
